About JB's Bright Beginnings
JB's Bright Beginnings licensed by the Department of Human Services and follows the state’s early learning standards. We use the Pennsylvania Early Learning Standards for Infants and Toddlers, Pennsylvania Early Learning Standards for Pre-Kindergarten, and Pennsylvania Early Learning Standards for Kindergarten to guide curriculum and lesson planning decisions.

We also participate in the Keystone STARS Certification Program, designed to evaluate and improve the quality of child care. The program offers Standards, Training, Assistance, Resources and Support (STARS) to child care providers and recognizes the continuous quality improvement efforts of early learning programs in Pennsylvania.

JB's rose to an elite level amongst Pennsylvania child care centers by receiving its designation as a STAR 4 center, as part of the state-endorsed Keystone STARS program, an initiative of the Office of Child Development and Early Learning.
​
JB's is 1 of the only 17 child care programs rated at a STAR 4 level in all of Westmoreland County, PA. The Keystone STARS program seeks to improve, support and recognize the continuous quality improvements efforts of early learning programs in Pennsylvania.
